We created a cohesive brand identity and user-friendly website that embodies the Foundation’s mission to advocate for equality, freedom, and social change.
Crafting a cohesive visual identity
The Foundation Erwin Olaf is committed to using art as a platform for social change. Our goal was to develop a brand identity that honors Erwin Olaf’s iconic photography while resonating with a youthful, activist-driven audience. The logo blends Olaf’s creative legacy with the Foundation’s mission, creating a bold, thought-provoking visual presence.
A dynamic color palette
The visual identity is anchored by a dynamic color palette that reflects the spirit of Olaf’s work and the Foundation’s core values:
- Neutral tones represent the Foundation’s legacy and continuity.
- Vibrant greens evoke creativity and innovation, aligned with the Foundation’s projects.
- Warm oranges symbolize empowerment and growth, reflecting the Foundation’s educational initiatives.
Designing for impact and accessibility
The typography complements the visual identity, balancing accessibility with boldness. The design concept ensures clarity and impact while maintaining an approachable, inclusive feel. It reflects the Foundation’s dedication to openness, strength, and its commitment to creating a welcoming space for all.
A digital platform for social change
We developed a user-friendly WordPress website that allows the Foundation to easily update and manage its content. Designed to engage with a socially conscious audience, the website serves as a platform for showcasing the Foundation’s work, promoting its initiatives, and attracting potential supporters. It’s a space where advocacy and activism intersect, bringing Olaf’s artistic vision into the digital realm.
A strong, cohesive identity
The branding and website work together to create a unified identity for the Foundation, ensuring its presence reflects both its mission and Olaf’s legacy. This project successfully translates Olaf’s artistry into a platform for advocacy, allowing the Foundation to engage its audience, promote its values, and continue driving social change through art.
