Crafting an Iran’s beverage brand

Magnolia Advertising Agency in Tehran presented us with a unique challenge: to conceptualize a new beverage brand for Iran’s largest drink reseller. This encompassed water, juice, and sparkling flavored drinks, drawing inspiration from successful Western food startups like “Hello Fresh.”

Understanding market dynamics

The primary hurdle was penetrating Tehran’s supermarket landscape. Despite the client’s Iranian roots, the goal was to resonate with a market valuing freshness, quality, and modernity. Collaborating with Jamshid Alamuti, Creative Director of Magnolia Advertising Agency, our task was to craft a brand identity balancing classic cues with contemporary urban flair.

Research and consumer insights

The research focused on trendy, quality-conscious individuals in Tehran. Uncovering Iranian supermarket preferences and consumer expectations was pivotal in shaping the brand’s visual narrative.

Conceptualizing a modern urban brand

The concept centered on infusing a modern Western aesthetic with simplicity and urban style, aiming for familiarity yet distinctiveness. A modular design approach was adopted to align with future plans for expanding product categories and flavors.
